Our Services

Brianna has training in various trauma modalities that inform her practice, some listed below to provide brief insight into therapeutic background\orientation. Brianna’s approach to therapy is deeply relational and rooted in attachment science and nervous system regulation. Brianna centers her services around the unique needs and goals of each client, forming treatment plans and using modalities most appropriate given presenting concerns.

Sex Therapy

A specialized form of psychotherapy that focuses on helping individuals as well as couples address and resolve challenges related to sexual health, intimacy, sexual trauma, and sexual expression. It involves a safe, non-judgmental space where clients can explore a range of topics such as libido, shame, pleasure, sexual dysfunction, kink, gender identity and sexual orientation, desire discrepancies, trauma, and communication in relationships.

Brianna approaches sex therapy with a trauma-informed, social-justice lens. She works with her clients to understand how past experiences, emotional barriers, and cultural, religious, or societal influences shape their sexual lives and perceptions of themselves. You can expect to explore not only the physical aspects of sexuality but also the emotional, relational, and psychological dimensions. Through use of a variety of therapeutic modalities—including mindfulness, communication strategies, and somatic approaches— Brianna helps her sex therapy clients build healthier, liberating, more fulfilling sexual relationships with themselves and others.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based therapy designed to help individuals process and heal from traumatic experiences. EMDR originally developed to treat post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), but it is now used to address a wide range of emotional and psychological challenges, some including sexual assault, anxiety, depression, chronic illness, grief and loss, and performance anxiety.

EMDR helps clients access and resolve deeply held trauma and addresses the lasting impact trauma has on the mind and body. During an EMDR session, your therapist will guide you through a series of bilateral stimulation (typically guided eye movements) while you focus on specific traumatic memories or distressing emotions. This process helps facilitate the brain’s natural healing process, allowing the reframing of negative beliefs, reduction of emotional charge, and the integration of these memories into your broader life narrative.

Couples Therapy

A form of psychotherapy designed to help partners strengthen their relationship, improve communication, and address challenges that may be affecting their emotional and physical connection. Whether you’re experiencing difficulties with conflict resolution, intimacy, trust, or navigating major life transitions, couples therapy provides a supportive, neutral space to explore these issues and work toward building healthier dynamics between partner\partners.

My approach to couples therapy is rooted in attachment-science based modalities, including Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFCT), which emphasizes creating secure emotional bonds between partners. This modality utilizes an experiential approach to help couples identify and understand their underlying emotional triggers behind behaviors to restructure and repair emotional interactions in session.

Whether you’re seeking to rekindle passion, enhance emotional intimacy, or work through past\present hurts, couples therapy offers a path to restore and reclaim your desired relationship.

IFS Therapy

Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy is an evidence-based, transformative psychotherapy approach that helps individuals understand and heal various inner parts of themselves. Developed by Dr. Richard Schwartz, IFS is based on the idea that all humans have different inner “parts” of themselves that can sometimes be in conflict with one another, leading to feelings of internal tension, confusion, or distress. In IFS, each part is seen as having a positive intention, even if its behavior feels destructive or unhelpful. By embracing all parts of yourself with compassion and curiosity, IFS therapy allows for deep self-understanding and transformation.

Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, past trauma, or relationship difficulties, IFS can help you uncover the root causes of your emotional challenges and provide you with the tools to heal and grow.

Perinatal Mental Health

Perinatal mental health refers to the emotional and psychological well-being of pregnant individuals, their partner(s), children and family during the perinatal period—this encompasses pregnancy, childbirth, and the first year postpartum. This phase can bring immense joy for many but can also trigger a range of emotional challenges.

Perinatal mental health therapy supports individuals through experiences such as postpartum depression, anxiety, birth trauma, grief, adjustment difficulties, relationship changes, and identity shifts that can arise during this time. This therapy uses a trauma-informed approach, acknowledging the ways in which past experiences and current pressures can impact mental health in this time. For many, therapeutic support throughout this transformative time can help cultivate vital compassion and understanding to improve emotional well-being and foster a healthier bond with one’s baby and partner(s). Perinatal mental health therapy provides a supportive space to help individuals navigate the complex emotions of this significant life transition.

Teletherapy

Teletherapy, also known as online therapy or virtual therapy, is a form of psychotherapy that takes place remotely, using technology such as video conferencing, phone calls, or secure messaging. It allows individuals to receive mental health services from the comfort of their own home, office, or any private space, making therapy more accessible and convenient, especially for those who may have difficulty attending in-person sessions.

Sessions are conducted in a secure and confidential digital space, ensuring that your privacy is maintained. Restore & Reclaim Therapy uses an encrypted video platform to meet with clients, providing a safe environment for healing and growth.
